Established in 2003, Vanquis Bank brings the benefits of credit cards to people who can find themselves excluded by mainstream card issuers. Vanquis Bank is different to other lenders – credit card limits are significantly lower than those of mainstream lenders and they maintain a high level of customer contact throughout the life of the account which is key to their success and this contact is driven by technology. Having worked with Vanquis Bank as their number one IT services development partner for several years Spargonet have now engaged on multiple projects in order to assist with the growth of Vanquis banks customer base. This has been done utilising Microsoft technology solutions varying from .Net & C# development through to SQL Server development and Data Warehousing and BI Solutions.

Spargonet was engaged to develop an application to alert call centre staff to the latest offers which could be sold to the customer they were currently speaking to. The application would determine the current customer status for the offer and provide the user with the appropriate scripts and workflow to follow based on the customers responses - Visual Studio .NET 2005, C#, ASP.NET, web forms, web services
Developed a number of modules for Vanquis bank’s call centre application following a test driven and domain driven design Cruise Control, NAnt and other tools were used for the product installation package build - ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio 2008 & Team Services .Net 3.5, SQL Server 2005, Fly Net
Spargonet worked as part of the Vanquis development team on enhancements to their CRM software and undertook design, development and testing of various .Net solutions - SQL Server 2000\2005, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS
Creation of customer contact data warehouse using SQL 2005 T-SQL, SSIS and SSAS Conversion of monthly customer credit score card SAS routines into T-SQL
