Alliance Pharmacy

Alliance pharmacy have expanded considerably in recent years, through new store openings and acquisitions. Their recent merger with Boots has expanded store numbers further. The changing size and complexity of the business has created increased demand for IT. To respond to this challenge they have developed a number of bespoke applications and implemented a number of packaged solutions. This has resulted not only in increased demand for IT resources, but also IT skill sets they haven’t traditionally used. To address the challenge of meeting these requirements they have utilised the services of Spargonet.

The first project work commenced in 2005 and we continue to work with them today. Our engagements have included upgrading an existing in-house developed property management application, testing a staff resourcing application, developing a pilot market analysis application, developing a new drug distribution/pricing application, performance tuning a data warehouse, designing a new data warehouse and providing individual resources that have been run under the clients own direction.
